Doctor Mooze, another review

It was really cool to see a review for little Panton's diary over at BCF Book Reviews, which came as a nice surprise especially as they had already reviewed it last year sometime. You can read it here if you have a mind to.

I think that is the nice thing with blogger reviews as opposed to press ones (newspapers etc.). People don't mind looking at books that have been around for a while, and it makes a lot of sense to me. The whole ARC thing makes good business practise I'm sure (to somebody) but outside of the blockbusters, well, whatever.

Can't be arsed to think about it right now,
too tired.

Oh, if you are looking for the celebrity stalker handbook blog thing, I have probably deleted it by now.

I'm re-doing it again and to be honest couldn't see that it added much to anything.

Have a fine weekend folks

Not a lot of roasting going on

Well if you did happen to go to my Book Roast, apologies as it seems that it isn't happening today after all..

Ah, what can you do...another time perhaps.

On the positive side of things (and excuse the sobbing and melodrama in the background) it has given me time to catch-up with writing a few reviews..I'll pop them up over the next couple of days

toodle & a pip

Book Roasting in the USA

Well, this is a bit of a first for me, but to help celebrate the launch of Doggone (officially on Saturday 28th February, when all the shops are shut) I had a moment of commercial reality and volunteered to appear on one of these authors talking to people blog things. As a promotional effort on my part that will no doubt break me in America.

Well, you never know.

Anyway, amazingly they decided that I should be allowed to do it, and so on Saturday you will see me as the marinating author on Book Roast.

What this means is that they will put an excerpt of Doggone up for people to read and then they can ask me questions about it, which given that it is rather UK-based and full of swearing and things, could be interesting.

What I hadn't realised was that there is a time difference or something, and so it starts at 3pm GMT, which is obviously a football prblem which I will have to work around.

Anyway, come and visit if you fancy seeing me cringe in public..HERE

Doggone, but not forgotten, hopefully.

Here is the final version of Doggone, that you can read on screen using Scribd (a super smashing great book reader thingie) or even download, I think in Word, but should maybe find out.

The printed book comes out on Saturday for some reason, I suppose I should mention that.

Enjoy...

I got that wrong..

Apparently I'm being roasted not spit-roast, which is quite different...

Slightly concerned

I've volunteered/agreed to be spit-roast on somebody's blog at the end of the month
but am not exactly sure what it entails..
Should I be concerned?
